This FAQ is for those who are already signed up to Diskery and want to make changes to their legal information, and those planning on deleting or re-enting releases.
In order to ensure that your sales payments arrive you must notify us when you move either e-mail accounts or postal address. This is a simple matter of sending us a letter or an e-mail.
Changing of the price is an official legal statement and you must send it by post. Grant 30 days for the price change to take affect. Be aware that Diskery still reserves the right to refuse the price change; in this event Diskery will remove you from the catalogue rather then simply not implement the change. As long as your price is competitive it is usually accepted.
If you have changed record companies or distributors this means our supply of discs will be coming from a new source. It is very important that you notify this new company that you are using Diskery for distribution services and (assuming you want to keep using us) you inform them that you would like to keep using us. You must then send us a letter or e-mail informing us of the change, and that new company must do the following:
AS A FORM OF SECURITY we must first receive a note from you telling us to expect this new company to re-apply! Diskery will not allow two suppliers of the same recording into the system, one must be removed to be replaced with the other. Also a legal note in this matter: It is not sufficient to just ignore Diskery and not either change or delete your listing with us as Diskery has rights under the terms of the Agreement you signed with us. Since that agreement will pre-date your new one with the new company, Diskery does not (and will not) honour any pricing changes, trade restrictions, etc. that this new company may wish to impose, nor will this new company be able to gain access to many of the retailers Diskery has your release listed in as these stores buy exclusively from us. They will also not be granted permission to stock the new version until you are deleted or changed on our list. Diskery could sue you, the new company and/or the retailer should units some how arrive. Even if we can no longer get supply from you that is not enough to remove you from the catalogue - the paperwork must be done first! Naturally we'd rather change your entry then delete you, but you must keep us informed.Once an entry is deleted it cannot be restored. Just like an accountants ledger book, items are not deleted they are mathematically cancelled out and cannot be put back exactly the same. Our catalogue works the same. Once your catalogue number is deleted it is not re-assigned or re-instated, so if you want to be removed or changed make sure you double check everything is done right. For example, you cannot delete your entry then have a new company put it back in at a later time - it must all be done at the same time if you wish to avoid service fees and/or interruptions in service.
You must grant at least 30 days for your changes to come into effect.
Go through the application process with this new release as you did for your previous one(s). Please do NOT use the same Agreement papers as newer versions quite often exist. Please Cut & Paste or Download a new version. The application for new items by a current members is usually a formality and you will be processed quickly.
As a member of Diskery you are required to make a link to the system. You can get a copy o the link graphic at the site by saving the below graphic to your c omputer and link either directly to your sales page or http://www.diskery.com.

On Diskery there are two types of sales programs available. Basic sales, which just gets you listed here and full distribution which allows us to sell your music in retail stores as well. You can freely change between the two programs as your needs change. To do this fill out the Agreement form for the opposite program and include a letter asking to be moved from the old program to the new one.
Send a letter requesting termination of your catalogue listing and what should be done with the remaining units in stock. There is a 30 day waiting period before the request is executed, you have anytime in that 30 days to cancel your termination request. This request MUST come from the person who signed the Agreement and MUST be sent by post (no E-mail).
If you have exited Diskery, you have 30 days to revoke your termination request before it becomes permanent. Once your termination has been executed, the release(s) you removed may not be entered again by you for up to 12 months (1 year) without paying a $10 service fee. Such activities are labour intensive, and we wish to discourage them. The release may be entered by another party unrelated to you (they can be related by business (such as a distributor or publisher), but not by friendship or blood) for free at the discretion of the data entry department. Even if you remove release(s), you may continue to enter new titles at no charge.
