SEND US YOUR MUSIC:
NWR is always interested in new music. Heck, it's the music that keeps us alive! If you have something you think we should be playing then send it to the address below for consideration. Please note: We do NOT guarantee we will play your music, that is up to the station management and the DJ (show host) at the time, but all music sent to us gets equal consideration.
THE LAW AND YOUR MUSIC:
To send us music for play you MUST BE the legal copyright owner of the work or a legally appointed representative of the artist like their lawyer, record label, fellow band member, promotions officer, etc.
We do not accept money to play your music.
WE DO NOT take unsolicited material for play on the station. For legal reasons the music sent must be checked, first for its content but also your copyright status and affiliations. We do not take music that extols hatred to any group, needlessly promotes random acts of violence, religious/political statements, pornography, etc. An entry may be excluded for any reason with or without cause.
When you send your music for play you must include these documents with it. Read them carefully and download a copy. You may also send an informal (but signed & dated) letter if you are not interested in formal documents, BUT the basic elements that are in the formal documents must be present in your letter, that is you are allowing us to broadcast your music royalty free and that you are legally allowed to do so.
SENDING YOUR MUSIC:
We take, vinyl records, cassettes and compact discs. We also allow individual songs if sent via MP3, such tracks must be recorded at a minimum of 64K/ps (our transmission speed). We accept indie rock, hard rock, Goth, punk and heavy metal of all types.
SENDING YOUR MUSIC:
Each show host broadcasts from their own computer located somewhere in the world. This could be a professional studio, or the basement, school, bathroom, bedroom.... we don't care... the actual address of each show host is a heavily guarded secret
