Brief Biography & Description:

Pirate Earth formed in a studio in 2000 and walked out with a tight recording. The band has many influences and this is evident in the material. The tracks encompass a wide variety of emotions and musical styles, from the mellow to Hard Rock.Little Ship On A Big Shore is about life... taking the hard knocks and how you grow from them. In 1999, the lead singer was hit by a car and left for dead. After several weeks in the hospital and many surgeries later, he wrote the material for this CD, brought some musicians together, and released it for others to hear. Bad Luck, the backbone tune of this recording, contains some coarse language... but it is a song about drunk driving, what it can do to a person and the true emotional battle it can create. We would not hesitate to send this track to MADD, we feel that strongly about it.Sit back and enjoy... remember, listen to the silence, you may be surprised.
